Senior Program Overview

​Croydon Baseball Club enters teams during both Winter (MWBL) and Vic Summer League, both senior and junior teams.

​

Winter Season (April to September)​

Melbourne Winter Baseball League

​

Croydon entered 4 senior teams into the 2013 season in A Grade & A reserves and also D grade and D reserves.
We're again looking to put 4 teams in the 2014 season and we will competing in the B Grade comp this year.

Season 2014: Pre season training to begin in February 2013
(Season begins April 2013)

​

Eligibility: The program is open to anyone aged 14 or over, male or female.
No experience necessary.

​

Our highly trained coaches are capable of teaching players of all skill levels. And with up to 6 teams playing in different divisions throughout the league, there's a team for anyone.

​

Games: are played every Saturday at 1 pm or 3.30pm. (Note no games are held Queens Birthday weekend).

​

Training: Club Trainings are held Wednesday nights from 6.30pm - approx 8.30pm under lights at our home field Barngeong Reserve (Bambra Street, Croydon)

​

Uniform: Complete uniforms are required for 1st nine team and reserves and are optional for remaining teams. A club T-shirt is however required on game day.

​

​Club clothing: Official playing hats, t-shirts and hooded jackets can all be purchased at the club.

We can even sort you out other baseball clothing (pants, cleats etc) and all other playing equipment that you may want to purchase.

Summer Season (October to February)

Vic Summer League Masters Competition

Croydon also enters a Masters Team in the Vic Summer League.
 

Players aged 38 and over are eligible to play.
 

Again, No experience is necessary.
 

Games are usually played on a Monday evening at various locations.
